Hector Ceballos-Lascurian has formulated ecotourism in Mexico City in 1983. According to Hector Ceballos-Lascurian (as cited in Tisdell, n.d.) the definition of ecotourism is “tourism that involves travelling to relatively undisturbed or uncontaminated areas with the specific objective of studying, admiring and enjoying the scenery and its wild plants and animals, as well as cultural manifestations (both past and present) found in these areas”. In other word, its include travelling to non-polluted areas with the aim of expand our understanding of tourism as a social phenomenon and enjoying the nature. Ecotourism is the quickest developing sector within the rapidly developing tourism sectors. As it is developing between 2.5 and 7 times quicker than the rest of the tourism sectors. Furthermore, it may grow by 25% of the global travel market in the coming six years.
